CuteFTP

The program you need is called CuteFTP you can get it at:

http://www.cuteftp.com/ (Shareware)

Download it and install in your computer. You will also need to create a new folder on your hard drive. Name the folder "website" and keep your html files in it. After you start the CuteFTP program press the Function key #4. That will open the site manager.Click on "add site" and fill out the information ( you may have to contact your ISP for the host address and initial remote directory). The site label is whatever name you want to give it. Initial local directory is your "website" folder you created. When you are finished filling out the form close the dialog box and double click on your new site label. The program will then log on to your website. You should get a file manager screen with your C:\website\ folder contents on the left side of the screen and the www.yourwebsite.com contents on the right. You can move files freely between them but be carefull, any changes you make on the right side will immediatly show up in your website. You should save the webpages you create or modify in the "website" folder and load them in your browser to test them before you upload them to the web. e-mail me: nolancjr@virtual411.com
